black rubber house

In Dungeness Beach,
simon conder disbanded
the traditional "beach house"
and went to the dark side.

No rustic white wash
or Seabreeze Blue walls here,
Mr. Conder clad the interior
his 1930's fisherman house in
plywood & the exterior in

black rubber

If Darth Vader had a home in the Hamptons this would be it! I think this is one of my favorite posts:-)

One of my favorite homes. I used to live quite close to this house in England. It's called 'Vista'. I posted some more photo's of it on my blog a little while back. There were also some really great shots of it in the world of interiors magazine a couple of years ago.
