funny, i had a business in the loft building across the street before cinders was even there. i bought a stainless steel restaurant kitchen counter that was actually manufactured around the corner. i just walked in while they were welding and asked for one. when i was feeling indulgent i would get an almond croissant from the hope deli and heat it up in the oven. i had huge trees fill my windows and a swing hanging from the ceiling on bars that i had a sculptor weld and mount into the ceiling beams. occasionally at night people would look up as they saw me swing by. thanks for the memories.

i also took a nice stroll on sunday and it was nice to explore other parts of brooklyn I had never been too even though they were so close to home.
