my mother
has taught me
everything i know
about design

when i left
home for school
my mom got in the
habit of "tearing
and mailing"

just 1
image in
an envelope

that's it.

she still
does it.

and it means
the world to me.

How wonderful, and surely much appreciated by your mom, that you would send this touching shout out to her.

As parents we hope that our little gestures are somehow ingested and absorbed. A word of encouragement, a little something in the mail, a common moment shared. It is all a part of what we do as parents to help our children ease toward their goals and dreams.

You have good fortune to have one of the most caring, dynamic, attentive and wise women on the planet as your "in the pocket" guide! And as a result of the collaboration you, Lee, have become a woman to be admired!

Love you Both to Pieces! xxooLynnda

Nice. When my mom visits, she sometimes sticks tiny notes in my pockets to find later.

wonderful -- and I love the boots, too.

The grown-up version of my mom's love notes/thoughts/jokes written on napkins in my lunch in elementary school. Nice touch Lee.

its such a small thing that can really make
your day and make you happy.

how rad is your mum!
(sigh. my parents are not into design at all
so they don't get me at all)
