ouch ... I know that feeling. a couple of weeks ago I cut the end of my finger off with a stanley blade ... I went to the sink to wash it and turned back to see a little bit of my finger still on the table. it's healing now, I hope your's isn't too bad.
OUCH! I've done that a few times, usually when I'm rushing to meet a deadline. I think that is one of the reasons I stopped making models in a workshop and now make them on my computer instead.
