I'm going to home depot for materials to remake these judd's now...or some day.
The Judd pieces are somewhat romantic with their emphasis on pure function-- no fuss, no high polish-- just a raw simplicity. But what beauty.
i visited the home of someone who owned several of judd's furniture pieces. they have stayed in mind forever. they were perfect in their imperfection. raw and excellent. thank you for posting such an inspirational post...just wonderful!

That bed speaks to me. It harks back to those Norwegian country bunks, but with the ornateness stripped away.
