Soon to be leaving my hometown of Sausalito...one of the greatest places in the world. Groovy locals, loco artists and the most amazing houseboats and foggy sunsets you have ever seen. It really is a funky group of characters, salty boaters, and of course, tie dye by Bo, or as we call him "Van Bo". I was born and raised in this town, and it seems to carry on within me where go, especially as I've been living in Manhattan. So, here's a typical day in the life of the sleepy waterfront town.... A beautiful old Danish Baltic tall ship sails toward the Gate only to remind me of the late 106ft Danish tall ship "Lene Marie" that my father used to crew and later married my mother on....

My step father owned the Lene Marie from 1992-1996 (when it eventually sank on it's way to Bermuda). I'd be interested to hear about your Father's years on the boat and marrying your Mom on board.
Small world indeed...
