i saw herzog's
cave of forgotten
dreams last night
and I can't stop
thinking/dreaming
about the cave paintings
and the calcium crystals
the mineral forms
that outlast all of humanity
thereby connecting centuries
upon centuries of life

I saw the Herzog documentary as well, and was completely mesmerized by the shimmering cascades.
