I fell in love with this book years ago when I found a copy at a local coffee shop. Thank you for reminding me!

I imagined you all stressed out and unintentionally (and revealingly) writing "massage" instead of "message". But I did click on the link, so now I know. He.

If I ever decide to teach a class I will put this book among the top "must read"...still relevant.
Thanks for the reminder...it had been a while.

I came across this book within the same week I came across your blog. I know I will return to them both.

It's funny how we live with the clichés and slogans, see them unfold and directly addressed (e.g. that great scene in Annie Hall) without ever acknowledging or engaging with their source.

Anyway, McLuhan's book is still ripe for thinking about media, technology and the human. Thanks for reminding us of that.

I found this book at 12 and I bought it because of the pictures... every year or so, i would go back to it and read it again and every year it says something different and more profound. I have almost 10 years of layers of meaning...
