Lately, I've been longing for a life of beauty...off the grid. A wonderful mixture of peace, elegance, and authenticity.

I love the looks of this house. Went to 'cosmic dust' site via 'inside' and have to say was a little shocked/ dismayed. As I live in a part of the world where 'real Indians' still exist, where First Nations people struggle daily for recognition of treaty rights, of cultural rights, of basic human rights, I find white people's self-serving co-optation and/or 'adaptation' of aboriginal culture depressing. Not sayin'...just sayin'. Love your taste Cerre.

To continue upon post 1/14:

Well, Cerre, it seems that you have some fervent (and shrill [i.e., 1913] supporters... Kudos... However, I find it curious that some of your readers are in such uproar of posting as "Anonymous." Really, if I were to sign myself "CapeCod" or "Manhattanborn" or whatever other handle, would that dispel anonymity? no it would not. So clearly signing off using a "user ID" is not what is being fussed about. Should ID myself by my given name? Even if I did, why would that matter? I do not know Cerre nor she me, so we are in effect strangers and may as well be anonymous to the other. So really what is the issue at hand? Is it any sort of criticism that your readers object to and so are defending you? Do you need it? Otherwise I find such personal rubber jabs at those of us who write anonmously a bit silly. This blog is open to the public thus scrutiny. Let Cerre defend herself if she sees fit.

I check you blog everyday and though I'm never disappointed, today I was especially pleased and inspired. These images, cropped from their environment, get at the hunger of architecture.
