I love the work of Edith Heath but Lucie Rie casts a pretty huge creative shadow over what Heath represents-her production pottery was very limited and always hand thrown-a means to support her individual works/practice.

After exploring Lucie Rie a little (thank you Cerre, I wasn't aware of her work before), I have to agree with R4TH - Lucie's work is of a different mold (pun intended) altogether. Heath went strictly production/factory while Lucie retained her one-of-a-kind artistic vision...
