This is really great. I think it might just help me now and then too. Thanks.

Ira Glass and his stories are woven into my work days in such a familiar way that I feel a subterranean comfort every time I hear his voice.

This is so apt, and just what I need to hear right now. And Ira Glass? I'll never tire of his voice and stories. Thanks for sharing.

i think i was ira glass before he became cool. had he grown up in a small town in texas, he too may have learned to express himself in more "locally" acceptable way. it just wasn't that popular to be wordy and demonstrative - particularly if you were a man. my dictum became "shut up and paint." thanks for posting. i love to hear glass's voice and stories.

this is amazing.
i adore Ira, and it is so good to finally see his face.
and it is so good to know that it also took him long to perfect his craft.
i won't quit.

A. I have a crush on Ira Glass

B. Is it quitting if you are just morphing your skills into something that suits you better?
