these are such amazing pictures! i know that they're taken in the water, but when I first glanced at them it looked like people were flying through clouds in the air. strange i know, it just reminded me of a scene in peter pan.
I was delighted to see Wayne Levins work on your blog. I have always been impressed by the emotion that comes across through his photography, whether it involves documenting the waste and ordinance left behind on the ocean floor by the military, the fish and sharks in various parts of the world or the crunch and jumble of people playing in the surf.
the third photo has an unusual feel for me. i don't know if i can attribute the sensation to the perpendicular movement of the fish / people or the clouded scape created by the mass churning above. i don't feel human when i look at it.

Beautiful, reminds me of early Ingmar Bergman films. Like The Virgin Spring.
