Having just seen the Avedon exhibit at the San Francisco MOMA and knowing they were friends makes me wish i could see her show! I love the images that are often about what's not there as much as they are about what is. Thanks for this form of storytelling.

i love lillian bassman, i have her ferris wheel image among others pinned to the walls of my bedroom. some are so ethereal. great post.
