perhaps we should swap places for a while - we are hungry for hot dry sun. our british summer seems to be following the same pattern as the past 2 years, we are teased with beautiful sun-filled days at the beginning and now heavy intense rain (and forecast for the next week too).

Beautiful images. Here, it is still lush...much lusher than usual for the Front Range of the Rockies, where it normally turns very dry by mid-summer.

And the greenery on the first pic is stunning. How I love your blog by the way. It's such an inspiration.

I am the same as pachadesign, the green in Ireland is overcoming. The rail tracks seem about to give in to creeping verdant monstrosities of plants grown dinosaur-like in the early heat of summer now sucking up the rain. Not bad, not suffocating but the prospect of dryness is very enticing.

That painting "Ophelia" by John William Waterhouse is so intense and gorgeous. Amazing to think it was done in 1889.

Hope you find some green soon.
