glitter, grit, glory

The Circus 1870-1950
Taschen / by Noel Daniel

Helvetica is so over.
let's get back to the
grit & grime of
good ole'

western and circus fonts.

try Rosewood,
Playbill, Wanted

refreshingly
unpretentious.

i just discovered your blog today and it makes me smile... especially your quote, "Great design begins with a well stacked wood shed" We burn wood in our home during the winter. My dad would chop it and my sister and I would stack it. Even when i was little, i was fascinated with the way it looked while it was stacked. My side would be half the height of my sisters but it always looked twice as good.
